EDKO Builders are a family business formed over 10 years ago as a building repair, alteration, and general carpentry service. In the beginning, we took the approach to our business of offering the best quality materials and service we could deliver at a reasonable cost. This remains true of our business today. After 10 years we are still a family owned and operated building company, and we still stand by our original decision to offer the best materials and service to our clients. What this has meant to us is that we have clients who return to us time and time again for their building requirements. We have gained a reputation in the building trade that is second to none for our service and quality of work.

We are proud of the letters we receive from satisfied clients commenting on the personal service they received, and the attitude and temperament of our tradespeople. All this has been gained from our “concept to completion” approach to our clients’ projects.We offer a full consulting service, ranging from architect to engineer, tradespeople and suppliers. Every aspect of our client’s project is covered by what we do and how well we do it. We offer an onsite consultation to discuss what your project ideas are, and how to best fit them to the land or current home. This service covers undertakings such as plan preparation, engineering design, council submissions, site excavation, and construction planning.

My journey started with my architect and Edin from Edko. Edin's input during the design phase was extremely invaluable. Edin was also very flexible throughout the whole build process to ensure that he is building a home that my family and I wanted.

Changes that did not have any financial impact he was happy to accommodate halfway through. Our lovely home was custom built by Edko Builders. Edin Bicevic, the director of the Company provided us with much professional advice throughout the process.

We bought a block of land in 2014 and went through a lot of hesitation whilst selecting builders. Building a house from scratch can be a stressful process. At first, we were attracted by those big project builders after visiting their top range display houses. We soon realized every extra would be a price adder and the overall price would have gone through the roof when we finished the wish list. We had a budget constraint and wanted to balance between quality and budget. Edin helped us in the process and discussed those value-added options that would increase the house value when selling in future.
